This looks like it could be a lot of fun! Nice amount of prize money too.

Sam, a couple ofquick questions,
1. Is this aCarpBusters sponsored tourney?
2. When you say any legal means of taking fish, I take this is not strictly a bowfishing tourney.

Just curious, thanks.

I talked to Sam about the shoot so I don't think he'll mind if I answer those questions.

Yes, it's an 'any legal method' carp roundup. (sport fishing methods... notcommerial netting) Bowfishing, spearing, angling, snagging (where legal) and catching silver carpin your boat.

It is the final leg of the Carpbusters.com tournament trail.

I'm trying to get some addition prize money for the biggest grass carp and biggest bighead. (since those won't jump into your boat) They will be a bit more of a challenge.

I just saw a program last night that featured this species. When they drive a boat through the water, the carp jump all over the place - even into the boat. That was wild!
If you had a baseball bat, you could smack a few out of the park!

Good point Jaybe, is smackin' a few with a ball bat a legal means?

Shocking is legal if you're a biologist doing a survey!
