Default INTERESTED IN SOME BIG HEAD AND GAR SHOOTING

The biggest one we got sat night was only 17.5 alot of gar but our lights went dead before we really got into them but ive seen and shot bigger a whole lot BIGGER they are all scooled up and they are a blast but they are real jumpy right now for some reason


hopfully to have my new boat done in 2 weeks (hopefully)

we usually go on saturday afternoon into night

plenty of places to camp and other fish to catch

do u no the river well ? above the swinging bridge my fience' and i are going out sat morning to hopefully get into some big ones

if your interested u can tag along are u from around there?

My buddy has been fishing below the spillway the last 2 weekends. He said the Whitebass were in there thick 2 weeks ago, but now the asians are up in there, and they were catching them with a rod and reel... couldn't find any whitebass then. He says they hooked some 40-50 pound asians... If'n you're going have fun. I'll be out down river looking for em...

its down by carlyle and its fun ill be down there for sure saturday at noon to get some big ones we were in the river last staurday and got a few but the biggest was only 17.5 #'s we it one around 25but pulled out at the boat i pretty much let mt fience shot since she is just started and she loves it and is a pretty darn good shot for only shooting a bow for 3 years total.

It's a river in Central/southern IL. Feeds Crlyle lake. Used to be a tribe in this area.

I figured it was probably a river, just no idea where. Like telling you I got into them on the Moreau.
