You might look into the PSE king fisher combo. You can pick one up in 40lbs, 45lbs, or 50lbs for around 130.00 bucks. I comes with a drum with line, roller rest, and one arrow. Not a bad deal to get started with. I replaced my Mamba with one, that is after my mamba flew out of the back of my boat on the highway. [:@]

Both the Kingfisher and Coyote (both PSE) are nice take down recurves that are pretty inexpensive and lightweight. You can also pick up some cheap used stuff on-line. It doesn't have to be pretty or perfect, just so long as it doesn't fall apart. Keep your string waxed. They are always getting wet.

If you want to stay very light, stick with a simple hand-wound spoolor retriever. The spincast reelsare very fast to get your arrow back, but get heavy afer a few hours.
