Default time to start?

Hey guys iam from arkansas. iam kinda new to this bowfishing thing. I started last summer and did it all summer. When is the right time to start for my area any specific months that are better than others? Please let me know thanks

Best time by far is the spawn. It usually happens late April, throughout May.

I start as soon as I can get on the water after hunting season is over. Usually start to see fish in mid-March.

Well my thought was well iam a big duck hunter. I was planning on start as soon as the season was over. That means like febuary is that to early?

I don't think it is too early. Anytime you are on the water is a good time.

I'm still new myself because i havent been able to go out yet lol. We have a few places out here that seem to have potienal for being decent shooting places so we are pretty much in the same boat as for being still new (no pun intended)

Bowfishing is real fun. Its a good alternative when duck hunting is not going on. Its a whole lot better than just regular fishing much much bigger fish
