Default My first bowfish

This is my first bowfish, it was in june. A 15lb 4oz. Buffalo Head carp

Congrats on the nice fish!

Up here we have smallmouth buffalo and bigmouth buffalo but I haven't seen the black buffalo around. (I think that's what you have there..)

Wow, I never noticed a lateral-line on any carp before, but I've never seen a black buffalo before either. Nice fish. Now that'll get you hooked I'm sure. Pretty awesome fight, huh?

thanks guys, yes it wasa great fight from shore. I shot him about 8:30 am right after the 5-7lb stripers quit the topwater bite. It was a great day.
