Default Apple jack and Ed's conicals

I took the Apple jack back out just to mess around.
300 yards.
Ed's 465 conical
80 gr Black MZ
.060 veggie wad
777 primer
swabbed after each shot
swfa 12x scope moa quad reticle.
I just used the reticle for holdover and windage I did not dial it up. I think 300 is the max for this scope as the bull looked awful small .

Shot one was based on ballistic app.

Shot 2 and 3 was based on shot one. I was very pleased with those 2

Shot 4 was a big disappointment but that happens . At least it is pretty common for me

Shot 5 however I was so pleased with that I decided to stop right there on a good note.
I think I am liking this old Disc more and more .

That's lobbing them quite nicely at 300 yards Sharpsshoter.

I've got some of Ed's 350 grainers coming that I plan to try at 200 and 300 with my 1:30 twist Renegade with a 4X Simmons ProDiamond.

What do you think my chances are of getting a 12" group at 300? My thoughts are;

4x scope I sure couldn't do it. My 12x looked small but i bet you can do it . Bigger target or bigger scope maybe both

Good shoot'n! Lots of practice will tighten the groups.

I've never really shot my MLs over 150 yards but I agree with Barnes. And that's with only one charge. Maybe if you fiddle with the amount of powder you could tighten it up some. Even weighing the bullets if you want to get real fussy.
But honestly, I'd be happy with that.

Well that is still good shooting. And Semisane, that should be interesting!
