I see Bass Pro Shop has these things for around $80.00. Even though I need another rifle like a hole in the head (I get told this all the time.. when I buy another rifle) I thought about getting one. I figure it might be fun to own an in-line although I really have no need for one.... I wondered myself how well they shot. Thanks for the heads up...

cayugad seems we think the same need another gun like a hole in the head.I pick up this eclipse about three years ago glass beded ,scope it ,shoots like mad but never get to use it it stays in thr safe.Once in a while I would thake it along to the range and double chech the group at the 100 yard target 3 shot inside and inch, gun is allways on the money,The reason I don' y use it is because I favor my t/c thunderawh in 54cal.which I allways take with me hunting
Iwas offered what I paid for it think it was $189.00 complete with everything rings, bases, fiberoptic sights but it all ways good to have a back-up gun then there is my other gun my t.c hawkens flinter that I love yo shoot
$189.00 bucks is not going to make or break me maybe when I get ready I may sell it.

At least I can shoot right in my backyard, the problem is I have four blackpowder rifles now, and really prefer to shoot just two of them. The other two are real accurate, but I like playing with different loads and so I shoot the .54 calibers. I just made some nice 380 grain LEE conicals, and am hoping to get out this weekend and shoot them, see how they print...
