White javelina rebuild
I started a rebuild on my .451 javelina pistol serial # exp 001 docs personal original javelina. The gun was being held by a "gunsmith" here in arizona who is a total schmuck I had to get the police to threaten him with theft and jail if he didn't give it back he was supposed to do some work on it but didn't and was trying to charge me and I refused. Anyway doc is welding on a action lug for me now because back then it just had a few threads holding action in the gun. I installed a action screw ferrule and stripped all the old finish off the gun today.I was surprised to find that the stock was broke on the handle part if you want to call it that see in picture but jot worried it is very solid and I have shot it many times with no problem.so when I get action back I'll bed the action and float barrel and send out for paint. Does any one have one of these? I'll send pics in a little while. tried uploading pics didn't work have to do another time.

I'll ask doc how many were made but I know the .451 was very rare. I did some more work on it today reshaping the stock a little bit in front of trigger guard. Tried posting pics but too large have to resize. Standby on those have to work nights this week !

Yeah lot of whites. My g-series is done and my super safaris I'm setting up as convertibles to swap back to super 91's with both original stocks and custom thumbhole stocks as well. I'm waiting for my javelina action to come back from doc so I can get that done soon. I have side locks as well I use them in my club shoots and state tournaments.
