Default Killed A Big Buck

Was in a low stand overlooking a trail that we brush hogged through the woods. A nice 8 point buck crossed the trail about 80 yards away. Made the BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA sound and the buck stopped. i don't usually take shoulder shots but decided to in this case due to the close proximity of the property line. At the shot the buck hunched up and ran. Found him about 80 yards from where he was shot. The shoulder was mostly ruined and there was a 2" hole on the inside rib cage. The bullet did not exit.

Gun: TC .50 Black Diamond
Bullet: 250 grain SST
Powder: 100 grains of Black MZ

This buck was huge with a very deep chest. Biggest deer i've killed in a long time.

i'm a very tired puppy.

Thats one heck of a buck Floyd! Im happy to see you having such good luck with the deer. I remember the years when you'd see big bucks and then the poachers would take them out. Hell of a buck!
