Off Topice: When Things Go Really Wrong
Tim Wells has several videos on YouTube, hunting hogs, deer, and African game with a spear.
But, CHECK THIS OUT. (I hope the link works.)

That's some gash! At first I thought it was going to be a hog attack. This is another reason not to climb or descend without a lifeline or harness and climbing belt. This man is very fortunate the spear didn't hit him in the head or chest or his femoral artery in his thigh.

Not to belittle the seriousness of his situation, as presented in this video, but how was it that his spear changed position from one side of the tree to the other a couple times during the video? If he was really alone, it's amazing how much the camera angles changed.

Here's another link with a different route to the video if the first one doesn't work for you.

Look Mommy! Six space aliens with box feet!
(Outside of all that), just another day where I await temps to fall into the low 70s to shoot-off some 200 grain 45-cal PTX's I bought. Man are these things short, with a strangely-shaped nose/tip. They look out-of-place standing on a table next to a 405 gr. Powerbelt, finding 20 of those inside a heavily-dusty shoe box under my basement steps.
Sorta' like seeing David vs Goliath.
