Drop the barrel into a bedded action and you're set.

Here is another one:

No need to bed anything...

The only problem I have had - on occasion the under rib might be a bit long and need a inlet in the stock

On one of my Renegades it fits fine. On the other its kind of loose, so I took Duct Tape and layered the bottom of the barrel to snug it up. Works better that way. But it will fit.

Last - I never did it but as you can see it does work. And least you may have forgotten the distance across the flats is only 1/16" difference so that's only 1/32" a side and bottom. And if you check on Ebay you may get lucky and be able to pick up a 15/16" tang.

bronko , you hit the nail on the head , my next question the 15/16 barrel almost fits my renegade but not quite. the tang is where problem is . barrel hooks in tang but sit down big 1/16 and is causing a binding in barrel channel because the wedge dosnt quite want to push in , I had in mind just swaping from 45 1" to 54 15/16" and back when i wanted but not yet LOL> if i change out the tang to 15/16 would that help anyone have to do this ??
