You are speaking of Sig Sauer pistol ammunition?

Yes sir. I've been searching trying to find the .45 bullets only. Heck I'd buy a few and send them to you for testing with 80grs BH. Wondering if they'd blow to pieces.......

Such a test was done using Gold Dot bullets intended for use in the 45 acp. The load i use has them going a bit over 900 fps out of my pistol. Shot them using 80g of powder from my rifle last May. Will start a new thread showing the results here directly.

The 275gr XPB is rumored to need 1400fps. I have not called Barnes to verify this.

RW promoted this bullet for use in the Savage but after this pic he took, I cant agree.

One of the guys on Dougs did a test at various speeds until they failed to open at all. Im trying to find the pics now.

I'm pretty sure he promoted that bullet in the beginning. He then started promoting the 300grn Barnes Original. What you'll find if you shoot enough game with them and do testing they are very inconsistent bullets in a ML. If you gotta shoot Barnes just shoot the MZ Expanders and you will be a lot happier.

Did Ron test any MZ Expanders?? I bet they wont fail the test

My favorite is still the little 225gr XPB made for 45 Colt. While not a good long range bullet, expansion is very reliable and recoil is mild.

In 250gr i prefer the one made for 45/70 vs the one made for 454 Casull or ML. My NULA doesn't like the 458 sabot selection as much though.

I hunted in Texas for 4 years with my Nula and 275grn Parker Ballistic Extremes. Shot a lot of Deer, Coyotes, and hogs with that combo.

The Parker is my favorite NULA bullet for accuracy. I find it hard to get away from them just for this reason. The 2 deer ive shot with them went down like a light switch was turned off.

They are a little fragile but deer sized game dont seem to know it. Both of mine were pass through and made a mess in the vitals.
