Default I get to hunt antelope!

This is my third time I get to hunt antelope with a muzzleloader in the last 30 years. I am pretty excited for this season. I also have a ML deer tag again and I am looking forward to that too. This year I get to use my rifle I built for Antelope. My 451 TC/GM hybrid. I will be using my 409 gr paper patched RCBS 11mm rifle bullets hardened to 8 BHN. It likes an over powder wad with 80 gr of Pyrodex P under it.

I have the same barrel without the fancy sights. Sounds like an interesting bullet there. And good luck on them hunts. This is going to be exciting!

LMAO Guess I should put on my readin specs huh. "409 paper patched" was a pretty good clue to that!

I used that rifle in 2013 for a deer hunt. That rifle shoots very well I was practicing out to 300 yards last week and it is just a fun rifle. I don't shoot the first shot at game over 150, that is just my limit. So far I have never had to shoot twice.

I was surprised that the 1-30 twist likes the 409 gr bullet. I thought for sure it would like a shorter bullet.
