Well my son got a chance to shoot the new MK85 "the dirty girl" today. We had to go in the afternoon and the wind was about 10 to 15 MPH. I set the sights for 100 yards, and as close as I could to my other one since it has the same sight and load. The first was low and right. I reset the peep sight, and The next was a little higher. Another sight change and it hit way too high. I changed the sight one more time and thing were close and I left it. Jacob did well for shooting a inline for the first time. The front sight covers all the circles and all you can do is hold for center of a 6:00 hold. I asked Jacob what he wanted and he said center. With the front sights on these guns I don't know if we are going to do much better. A 6:00 hold could shrink it a bit but then we would be shooting different with the in-lines than we do with the side locks. More testing is in order but the dirty girl shoots well for her first time. And Jacob did well for his first time shooting anything since October.

Darn good for open sights at 100 yards.

I'm envious of those young eyes. I'm not sure I could seethe target at 100 yet alone drop a nice group in.
