function was may add a little more durability.

accuracy wise, don't know, been a long time since I done any amount of shooting with factory made bullets even longer with powerbelts. those where loose in my range box at the bottom.

You can always hang them on the Christmas tree.
that is not a bad idea. some small brass hooks. christmas themed pictures.

I personally would not put ANYTHING like that down the barrel of any of my muzzys!

The only red I'll accept is blood from a recovered bullet inside one of my harvested deer or rabbit.

Durability? They only are used once. I suspect that powder coating won't do your rifling any good and may be very difficult to clean out of the barrel. Fishing sinkers perhaps would be a good use.
