iv'e shot both but would pick the barnes in a heart beat over the power belts.

The sabot is the plastic sleeve that encases the bullet, PowerBelts don't use sabots...

Use the Barnes...

btw...You can also buy sabots separately and use either .429 or .451 pistol bullets (when mated with the proper sabot)...This saves a ton of money...

The Barnes MZ are just a real fantastic shooting sabot/bullet combination. One of the best on the market IMO. It is what I use when I hunt with a sabot.

You will not find a more consistent bullet, that performs 100% of the time than a Barnes. They may be a little more expensive but, ever hear of the phrase, "you get what you pay for"?

The only use for powerbelt bullets IMO...........

All we use for deer hunting are Barnes bullets. Never used the Expanders but believe its the same as the TEZs we use minus the tips. If they shoot well out of your rifle, you will be pleased with the results.
