Yes, yes of course you are correct. However, all of my hunting will be done on the great plains. The wind always blows on the plains. Most shots will be long range. Shooting long range in a breeze is what my hunting consists of. The 300g bullets fly better than them lighter ones.
Regulations dictate we shoot a 44 caliber or larger bullet. This means a 200g 40 caliber bullet cannot be used. Too bad because my 45 caliber Omega will shoot them accurately out beyond 300 yard.
Conditions, and regulations dictate bullet choice, thus a 300g bullet will be used.
