Default Ultimate Firearms (the real one) today

Took the rifle out and sent a couple rounds today at 100yds. All these rains make it almost impossible to go to the club for long range shooting. 5 rounds enlarging a single hole.

Ultimate Firearms BP Xpress
300gr SST
3-T7M pellets

Pay no attention to the old fart under the hat.......

Man don't you just hate it when you get a flyer? That one that hit high right would really make me mad!
But what can you expect from an old goat like you.
Very nice shooting.

For just three or five shots the target doesn't look good at all. Looks like the bullets might be tumbling??? Or maybe the target wasn't put up right??? I had this happen before with I believe a 350grn bullet.

No grouse45, they're not tumbling, if they are they surely straighten back out at 400 yards.

Damn nice group. I've been using the 300Gr. SST in all my Knights and my new Redemption. Very accurate load and hell on big hogs and South Texas Whitetails.. Not sure at my age if I could handle the 4 pellet load. My 110 gr load of BH 209 is tough enough. Keep us posted.

One patch, both sides, between each shot.
