Default Ordered powderhorn today.

Okay Cayugad, the positive results you and a few others have had so far has convinced me to try the powderhorn scope on my CVA Wolf. Placed order today for the 3x10x40 black matte version. Considered the camo one, since wolf is camo, but decided against it in case I put it on another BP rifle in the future. $58.00 and change for scope and shipping plus lifetime warranty is worth it to give it a try myself. The inexpensive Bushnell currently on the wolf doesn't have quit enough eye relief that I would like and no BDC. Hopefully the powderhorn will be better.

I believe I can tell you that the PowderHorn is a betterscope than any of the inexpensive Bushnells, and I am a fan of Bushnell scopes.

I put mine on my new Mountianeer for hunting season this fall... I have that kind of confidence in it...

Thanks for the response. I'm sure I will like it, especially if I can get BDC to work for me. Might have to experiment to see what yardage each mark will zero in on with my load.

I am going to have to do the same thing HD because there is no way I am shooting 150 grains of powder in that rifle I have it mounted on. So I will just see where each mark hits. With the close range I have, I even considered sighting the main mark in for 50 yards and then seeing where each mark hits after that. A 200 yard shot where I live just is not going to happen unless I was hunting my buddy's hay field.
