Had something similar this last gun season here in Il. I had hunted all weekend, all day, nothing. On my way out, I parked by an oil rig on a dirt road. 20yds from a stand of cattails bout 15yds round. Walking out sunday eve just at last possible light to see and within 75yds of my truck are 2 does walking in the corn stubble. Get next to my truck and a 3rd doe comes out of the cattails within 20yds of my truck!!!!!! Next year I am just going to park backwards and put my pop-up blind in the bed of my truck and go from there!!!!!!!!!
