Default Couple of Game Pics

Been taking out the Endeavor trying to get a crack at one of these two boys. Nice deer for the Panhandle of Florida. Not much daytime movement yet but the rut will kick in in a couple of weeks. I hope to catch one slipping. Just wanted to share.

Nice Bucks.....how big inches wise do the bicks get in Fla.? I know they dont weigh as much as the one's from up North where I live, but what's a good buck weigh and what's a good rack score from there?

Breechplug,
There was a buck killed around here last year that scored in the 140's but that is rare. Both of these are really nice bucks for around here. I think any buck reaching the 180 lbs. or better mark is pretty healthy. I have no idea what either of these would score but they are both bigger than anything else I've killed.

Wow I guess there much heavier there than I thought. I heard they only go tops around 100lbs+ there. 180lbs is a good heavy buck anywhere, some go as much as 250lbs here but an average good heavy buck will go in the 180's.
Sorry if I assumed worng but I always heard that the bucks there are small and there racks look much bigger than they are because the bucks light weights make the racks looks so much bigger than they are.
Those bucks pictured are good ones anywhere.

Much smaller in south Florida. You are correct, they don't usually get much larger than 100 lbs. or so. I live closer to the Alabama line in the north end of the state. Our does will reach 100 lbs or better at maturity. I may should have said 150 or better but i think a big buck would be closer to 180.
