I've heard Savage is going to make some of their smokeless muzzleloaders for 2012...Those who might want one better get their orders in...

They made them last year also. Demand was high enough for them to make another run. IMO though to REALLY enjoy all the benefits, adding a 45cal barrel is easy and well proven. Swapping it back to 50cal only takes a few minutes if you have the barrel nut wrench and can follow some simple instructions.

A much easier solution to the Savage ML is offer it in a 45caliber. They could charge $250.00 more and still sale a BUNCH of them. Why something so easy is so difficult i will never understand.

The only way to get me interested in a smokeless ML would be with a .45 offering.
