Default something I heard on the other day

I was counting my change and remember hearing that there are people hunting for pennies made in 1982 or older because they are made of copper. the report said people are making millions because of the scrap value.

yep i saw that too, i forget where it was, maybe the news? but the guy they showed had like 6 or 8 5 gallon buckets filled to the top. It costs more to make a penny these days than what its worth.

I am saving the copper jackets from my range lead. going sort and find the way to melt what lead is left and an magnet to get the steel cases out.

the newer pennies are made out of zinc and copper plated

I've been Collecting Coins for over 35 Years, sure Copper is Up, but do you know how many Pre 1982 Pennys you have to have to make a Profit, A-LOT.
If you want to Invest in Precious Metals, Buy Some SILVER, GOLD's to Expensive but Silver still has Plenty of Growing Room.

I believe the guy in the report had made $360,000 so far on pennies. He had his whole family involved sorting them.
