In many cases conical bullets may work fine. However, results vary depending on the many factors so we cannot recommend conical bullets. However, many shooters have reported good results with Hornady FPB and Thor bullets.

Its not recommened because of not getting a tight seal for ignition.
Maybe you will or want depends on the conical fit. You could try a duplex load

I like Triple Seven when I shoot conical bullets. And I like the 2f better then the 3f. But that is just my White Rifles choice. I think that Knight should shoot conicals well. Save the BlackHorn for the sabots. Just have fun. Getting nice and cold, so its time to shoot.

It does a really excellent job with 90 grains and the 350 gr FPB for me.

I suspect the FPBs work well in some rifles due to the cupped, oversized base allowing for a tighter seal than most conicals. Same would apply to the Thors.

Powerbelts, Thors all shoot excellent with BH209 for me.
