Looks like the entrance hole on the deer i shot with my powerbelt! Except mine didnt have organs hanging out LOL.

Must have been fun with a muzzy. I havent been able to get one into range for a muzzleloader yet.

When I was young and used to deer hunt with my father, I was known for shooting anything legal, other then deer. Just too antsy according to him. He used to have a fit with me. He'd ask me.. did you come here to deer hunt or -+*/ around? The same thing happened to me one deer season. I popped a red fox (hey it was worth $50.00 back then) and right after I shot a buck jumped up and took off across the hill on me. Needless to say, I heard about that for years and years.

Never once do i recall moving from the spot where i made a shot, without reloading. This carries back to the day before i ever picked up a muzzle loader. The first thing i always did after any shot was chamber in another round, or hold the loads in the magazine, and take a round out of my pocket, and put it into the barrel. Rule 1 is reload. Rule 2 is reload. Rule 3 is reload..................................

Oops, i just remembered the time i shot a deer with my 44 revolver. It dropped right there, right now. Didn't have a holster to fit the gun, so i set it down. When i went up to retrieve the deer, it ran off. I had to chase it down, bull dog it, and all the while get my knife out of my pocket, open it, and cut it's throat.
