We can use a Scope also during our Late ML Season, I'd be lost without My Scope.
Plus if we have a Buck Tag ir Doe Tag that went unfilled during our Gun Season we can use them during our Late ML Season. Plus we also get a Either Sex Tag and a Antlerless Tag for Late ML.
I too like the Late ML Season the Best, not but in part because of the lesser amount of Hunters, we still have quite a few, but because I see more Deer, especially Bucks. By this time our Winter usually has unleashed it's Full Force upon us and the Deer are trying to rebuild there Fat reserves that they lost during the Rut and from Gun Season. The deer are less Nocturnal are will hit the Food Sources (Corn) (Soybeans) and any left over (Apples) during daylight hours, plus the (Second) RUT has kicked in so it's one of the Best times to be out Hunting.

You been watching that Turtle Man show?

Our muzzleloader season starts now. Which to me is no different then modern rifle season. So how many deer total have you added to the larder? And how many more you planning on shooting?

Good luck with that Mountaineer and hunting Mountain Lion. Be careful they don't hunt you.

Between the kids and wife and myself I would like to get about 6 more doe or so and one really really big buck

We had snow cover the first couple days. Then it turned warm. My friend shot a nice 8 pointer with his 30/30 opening day. Let the does walk. I tore out my knee and have been taking it easy. Now it's snowing again. We still have plenty of time. The wind is cold and damp so you have to bundle up.
