Default T/C Big Boar Range Report

Got in a quick range session this evening with the Big Boar. I was running out of daylight quickly so I didn't have time to play with any loads, but the load I started with just happened to be a good one! First shot was the hole to the left and the next 4 ripped the big hole to the right. This gun seems to be a shooter or I just got lucky, hopefully not. Made some sight adjustments and got it hitting about 2" high. This was 50 yards, T/C tang peep sight, .570" Hornady RB, Ox-Yoke pre-lubed .015" patch, 100gr FFG Goex, magnum #11 caps. Only trouble I had was with the T/C Peep sight. There is a little set screw that you loosen that allows you to adjust another set screw that moves the sight up and down and it is almost stripped. I hope I got it tight enough and dose not loosen up on my while hunting. Going to see if I can track down another screw for the sight. Anyway so far so good with the Big Boar. Hopefully I see a deer tomorrow morning so I can give him a 278gr hello!

I am getting the same results. I have been searching for a good conical or mini ball, but have not had any luck. So I will be going with the PRB as the primary load for now. I am satisfied.
