Default Vortek Ultralight Testing Complete Range Report

Well not much to say shoots in the same hole, well almost the same hole with SmackDown 250's And Scorpion PT Gold 260's in SmackDown Sabot's

100 strokes of JB Bore Paste for a little polish
BH 209 100gr
Win 209 primers
Spin Jag Bullet Starter and Spin Jag 50 loading Jag
Knight Range Rod
Bushnell Trophy XLT 4-12x40 DOA
Temp 35 degrees wind 15 mph from the North
102 yard range finder verified

Shot 20 Rounds today I think BH209 should have a book written and call it black powder for dummies Was kinda thinking hope she doesnt miss fire and never did through 20 rounds fired
Pretty boring with this gun and powder combo but she is ready for what ever comes in the cross hairs..
Since I am a redneck I was shooting of my pickup tail gate

Here is the target after sighting in, I started the day with 110gr BH209 and she was a little wild so dropped down to 100gr and she started shooting little groups the group in the middle is 6 shots.First three shots were the smackdown 250's then I thought this is getting boring lets see how the 260 PT Gold shoot so I shot three shots just below the first three. The two shot group in the upper right was to make sure I was hitting the target Real hard to tell when your shooting through the same hole
Bottom left shot off hand and frozen

Then here is a few other photos of the primers and Spin Jag Starter

Kinda like my Granddad used to say I can tell you faster than I can show you. I really likes the idea of the 52cal but so far been a bummer but the sun shines on a dogs rear end every now and then

How's the trigger on that Vortek? The trigger on my Pursuit is like guess work until you get used to it. I was just wondering if Traditions put a better trigger on the Vortek. Other than the triggers, the Italian barrels Traditions puts on their rifles shoot darn well.

New trigger in the Vortek line its about 4lb and smooth as glass almost as light as the one in the Knight
