Default Cheap sniper show!

Watching a sniper show on the history channel and they were duplicating a sniper in Alaska where a guy had 4 hostages and 3lbs of C4 strapped to him. The "tv sniper" was set up using what looked to be a remington 710 with a Bushnell scope package.

I just about fell off the couch in tears from laughing when hes trying to act like hes got an adjustable mil dot scope. Im watching and laughing my rear end off as hes just turning his scope caps left and right.

I just couldn't believe they did something that cheap! Come on! Make it look somewhat believable and not a cheap $300 Remington with a $50 scope that has a B highlighted in White.

You never know he may have be useing a scope with a adjustable eyepiece and he needed to clear up the scope to see what he was looking at .( All you have to do is twist the flipup cover right or left to clear things up a bit .)

I saw this, and nope, they were using a Remington 710 in place of a Model 700, and it had the package deal Bushnell scope on top. It said something to the effect of he was going to have to dial in his elevation and then you see him start twisting on the scope cap just unscrewing it like it's doing something.

I really liked this show overall, but there were several things throughout the show that were obviously very off. I thought they could have definitely done a much better job being more realistic as several of the guns they said they were using weren't what they were showing, they also were talking about a Unertl scope and showed an older Redfield. Stuff like that could have been better done, but overall it was a fun show to watch and the information seemed pretty good.
