The other day when it was warm in the hills i switched vests, and found your strap in a pocket of the cotton vest. Had no idea i had it; guess i untied the doe, and put it in my pocket.
Looking forward to the pics. I took 2 friends out in the panhandle; 1 shot a decent 4x4 muley, the other shot her first deer, a forkhorn.
ron: don't worry bout the strap.

I'm holding out for a nice Mulie with my rifle tag. SD and NE both opened the same day so I went to Ne first. Now I will be hunting at home. a 4x4 around here is a good mulie . They dont seem to get much more than that. I go to take the wife looking for her whitetail first, then I start Mulie hunting. Hopefully within a couple days. Congrats on your deer and your friends. The first one is always the best.
heres a couple photos from the wife camera phone. I need to invest in a camera some day. The brow tines are very unique for here. One is 7 inches and 1 is 8 inches. he is a 5 x 5
Knight Mountaineer
about 120 yards
120 gr blackhorn209
250 gr Bloodline bullet
Win 209 primer
nikon Omega BDC 300 scope
he ran about 40 yards and fell over. The bloodline performed great as the insides were shredded and he didnt go very far.
