Default Winchester #11 percussion caps

After searching all over for any caps and dreading paying the hazmat fee, I found them at a Walmart 5 miles down the road from me. 5 bucks per 100.
So close, go figure.
I read a little candle wax makes em stay on. Anything else I need to know?

Those are the same caps I use. And if you wait until after the season, they go on sale. I usually clean them out then. As for the wax. That is true. I believe Cayugad told me about that. but be careful to put the wax around the nipple and NOT over the top. Not only does it help keep the cap on but also helps waterproof it too.

Birthday candles work real good for that. Winchester Caps are nice fitting and they stay on the nipple well. I use them all the time.
