Default great range session (finally ready)

went to the range to zero in the new scope on my silver eagle sidelock and to check the damage to the zero of the scope on my win apex.

with in 5 shots i was hitting the bulls eye. did 5 more shots just to confirm. that put an smile on my face.

i shot 10 time with my win apex at 50yrds, my knees where bothering me today so I did not want to wake to the 100yrd line. 5 inches high to the right, tried to fine tone it, keep over correcting. finally got it on the last two shots where i was happy with it.

did five more shots with it this time with an lubed bullet first two shots I did where 6in apart. add an wad, two where almost touching one was only an inch or two above them.

had enough time to play with my flint lock, first 5 where about 5in group and about a foot high at 50yrds. did some sight adjustment finally got it to hit the paper barely. i was having major hang fires. but the ignition problems are fixed.
flint lock load
cva plains
first five where with an felt patch and liquid wonder lube (shot the best the patch held together), last 4 with 50/50 crisco and borebutter on an pillow tinkering.
80grs of goex 2f priming charger was hand ground 2f (wooden mortal and pistil)
open sight
i will post pics once I get some time.
