Default Yukon w/ BH 209 & 250 SST

Hey guys shot again today and switched from 300 grain to 250 grain SST sabots. First shot on a clean barrell was center 1 inch high. Next two were touching @ 3 inches. So I am now dead on at 100 yds 3 shots later. Was wanting 1 inch high so I might shoot again. I want to hunt with a fouled barrell and with the BH209 can I wait to clean it till after my trip starting on sun or should I clean it today. Also w/ the 250 grain SST and 100grains of BH what do you think my drop is from 100 yds to 150 yds if I am dead on at 100. Thanks.

run a couple tight fitting, dry patches down the bore to remove the excess fouling. You'll be fine then.

Drop should be 5.2 inches if sighted dead on at 100 yards

I'm not a fan of formulas. I'd shoot it at 150yds to know for sure.

Ya i might shoot it one more time before I go, but if not just a couple dry patches huh? Should I take the breach plug out and clean that. Shot a total of 7 times today.

breech plug is the life support on whether or not the powder goes off. Take the plug out and decarbon it and you'll be good.

Cleaned the breech plug after I ran 1 wet and 5 dry patches down the barrel and when I looked through it, it looked brand new. The BH209 is awesome. I am going to make sure to shoot one round at camp this sun before the opener on monday to make sure the barrell is fouled. Also want to get to about one inch high at 100 yds, so I guess Ill try and get that done sun night as well. Most my plots are 100 to 150 yards is all. Hope to have a pic of a biggin for you guys next week. Only got one small doe with a ML and that was 2 years ago. Thanks for all the help.
