I bought the Knight MK 85 from a friend of mine a few years ago. he gave me everything I needed at the time but I recently ran out of primers. Which ones should I go with? I bought the Winchester Triple 7 209 Primers but they don't fit in the capper I have. I honestly didn't realize how many different kinds are out there. Can I use the ones I have and just buy a different capper? Thanks for the help. I would ask my buddy but he is deployed with the military right now.
Wait, has this been converted to take 209 primers, or does it still take #11 caps or musket caps? Do you have a picture of the ignition system? With a little more info, we could probably help more.
Actually I stand corrected. I looked up #11 Caps online and those are exactly the ones I had before. They are also completely different from the ones I just bought so I think I have answered my own question.

guess I have never seen that problem... Which capper are u currently using?
That looks like a nipple for #11 caps. I don't think it's a musket cap nipple, but I'm not exactly sure what the musket cap nipple looks like. I'm sure someone on here can tell you for sure what it is, but I'm 90% sure it's takes #11 caps. It definitely doesn't take 209 primers though.
Yes that uses #11 caps. You can buy them at Walmart.
