Default new optima on the way

I was trowing it around for a while but just order the new optima with the black thumb hole stock over stainless barrel.
I was going to waite for the end of the year sale but $249.00 to me was not a bad price.I was told the black stock thumb hole are not going to be any longer :I like the camo but not crazy about it.
I hope she will look as she looks in the picture and shoot as well

I don't really need another black powder rifle but what the heck it only money

Very nice looking rifle. Are you going to put a scope on that? If so, how nice of a scope are you going? I would think that deserves a Leupold at least.

This rifle really tempted me to purchase another inline. Lonewolf and I have talked about the Optima and I have to say.. I think this would be an excellent rifle. But I sat here think of all the other inlines I have, and this would just be another target rifle for me. So I was able to resist the temptation.

That is a nice looking rifle, and you got a really good price for it. Congrats! Can't wait to hear how it shoots...

Default well the brown truck came to day

I got the new optima in this evening funny the barrel is drilled and tap for iron sight and they supply the small allen key to adjust the sights :but no iron sights in the box.?
I will say the barrel rifling are cut deep and I mean super deep.
I did get the Durasight one piece base mount in the package.I also noticed the over all weight the gun is light so far QRBP another nice feature added.
I will run some J@B down the bore and mount the scope set up this up incoming week I will like to get it to the range this weekend.
I do have some BH209 but only standard CCI 209 primer not (mag)
I wonder if any one can comment on the barrel being drilled for iron sight ;I see no reason you can't use them but you would need a tall set do to the high comb thumb hole set up

They only make one barrel. No sense in giving open sights with the TH stock. They don't work together.

I got the package with the gun case and Konus Pro 275 scope with the BDC reticle. I'm loving it, and the stock is perfect for a scope.

Good luck getting those little set screws in the open sight holes.
