I did a DIY camo paint job on mine, or you could spray it black again.Krylon and rustoleum both market camp black paint.

I would second painting it. I was in my local Westlake the other day looking at paint for a stock job. Along with the regular paints, they also had a few cans of lightly textured outddor paints.

after it's painted put a coat of clear spray enamal over it to seal the paint and keep it from chipping off.

just paint it! Its no biggy to use spray paint. Just prep the stock with an sos pad, clean the debris off, lightly primer it and then again, lightly paint it and slowly build the layers up. Finish off with a matte finish. You'd be surprised at how well they come out.

I also have Painted a few Stocks, I make My Own Stensils too, I can Camo a Stock to fit any Season.
Most Car and Truck Panels today are made of Plastic, they have some Good Paints and Clearcoats out there for that porpouse. I'd go New if you dont want to use any Paint, but take My Advice Skip the Majic Marker thought.
