Two seasons ago, i use this bullet exclusively. It worked perfect! It seems about 6 or so deer were killed with this bullet. Last year i used this bullet whenever i hunted the prairie. What happened every time i used it, was the bullet hit lung, and was high enough to be near enough to the backbone that it dropped all the deer instantaneously, and they died. None were actually hit in the backbone, but the shock of the bullet being close, seemed to paralyze them enough so they fell right there instead of running off. Tissue damage to the lungs was extensive, and they died quickly. The nearest a deer was killed using the bullet, was about 35 yard, and the furthest was about 230 yard.

They seem to fly real good compared to the 300g Deep Curl. The 300g Deep Curl has a better ballistic coefficient according to Speer, but this bullet seems to fly out to 200 yard pretty good. The tissue damage this bullet does, is quite remarkable compared to other brands. Another plus for this bullet is the cost, which is very reasonable for one of this quality/capability.

The photo is of one of these 270g Deep Curl i found on the ground, and a way way up the hill, behind the target i was punching. It seems remarkable how well this bullet survived smashing into dirt, and bouncing up the hill behind the target.
