Default Doe kill

Was fortunate enough to harvest a Doe in the Early muzzle season in northern zone of NY. Weapon was a CVA Accura with two white hot pellets and a Barnes 250gr TEZ. The exit wound is massive. I will try to post pictures.

That is one nice healthy looking doe. She is going to be excellent eating. And that exit wound is most impressive. How far did she move after being hit by that freight train?

She made it about 25yds, bottom half of the heart was gone. I sure am a believer in those Barnes bullets.

I have seen many an exit wounds before, but this one takes the cake!!! Nice Doe. I have taken two does so far this season, but both were in bow season. Here in Virginia, we still have three more weeks of bow to go. I will be back up to hunt camp next sunday.
