since I seen the reports on the tc hawken and renegades with Green mountain fast twist barrels. I been wanting one. just finding an good an stock for it. an good price. even looked on TOW. $200 unfinished preinlayed stock. missing deals locally and on forums by a few minutes.

promised myself I would not start another gun project until I finish the stock for my win apex.

wish Green Mountain would put out an fast twist for CVA Hawken

Corey, if you want I can put an ad like the one below on a forum down here in Louisiana and see if I can pick up a stock cheap for you.

Quote:
WANTED - Rusty TC Hawken or Renegade

I need your old (and cheap) TC Hawken or Renegade with its rusty and ruined barrel to salvage the stock. If you've got one in the back of the closet or corner of the garage, shoot me an email.

Easy to find a beat up Renegade with a rusty barrel.

Put on a GM barrel, and refinish the stock, and you have a winner. I had one, and it was a great shooter. I liked the balance better with the longer barrel. I had the slower GM 32" 1-70 twist barrel. You want the faster twist. I forgot. Is it shorter?

Anyway, I sold it, and bought a GPR. Then I sold that.

I have to stop selling stuff.
