Default remington genissis

what to put a scope on this gun. cant seem to find the right mounting plate, any suggestions

Hang in there... Caugad will see this eventually - He shoots a RemGen and will have the information you need.

Go to Traditions Firearms and look up the bases for the Yukon. Same rifle different breech. I used them and some of their quick release on my Genesis.

I also used this base, only I used their see thru scope mounts on the one I had.

The Weaver 48435 mount will work just fine.

Traditons also has sets A1789 is the code.

Also, Walmart sells a mount call "Gorilla Grip" I believe. I've used them before and they worked alright. Never lost zero in my experience but some people claim they are weak.

I used the Gorilla Grip mounts as well. No issues, work just fine.

I put the "Gorilla Grip" on my Genesis. They are cheap and work fine on the gun. I dont like see thru ones but each his own.
