Default What's your go to 209 primer?

After many years and advancements in breech plugs. I believe my favorite all around 209 primer to use is a Winchester with all BP substitutes including BH209.

Just curious which primer is your favorite?

Mine is the STS. It seems to be the most uniform in size. I only shoot BH209. My primer choice is determined by the rifle. Some rifle/breech plug require smaller/longer primer such as the W209. Whenever i can make/modify a breech plug for a primer, i always fit it to the STS. I only use STS or W209 primer in all of my rifle.

Federal 209a, just easy and cheap to get locally. Never had an issue with them.

I've been using mostly CCI's. Can't close the breech of my Omega on Winchesters.

Win209's, tight in the Triumph, with no blow back.

Are you serious? I have never had that problem with Omegas or Encores with Winchester primers. Interesting information though.
