T/C sells a peep sight that will mount right to his tang. The aperture can be screwed out to make a ghost ring if he hunts in shadows and late afternoons. If its nice and sunny, the peep will do him just fine.

The one in the picture below is the one for the TC Renegade and Hawken. I see them frequently on E-Bay. Tom.

Another option is.. if legal.. a 1x32mm scope might work for this gentleman. It will not improve his optics but the sight picture from them is very good.

I have to get him looking see what he wants.

no limits on scopes in VA.

if it was me I would go the sinful rifle (how semi does not have that trade marked)

hell I would go to an fast twist GMB.

(tc sidelock is my next project once I get the stock done for my win apex)

I believe the T/C peep that Cayugad is referring to is #7194. I does require one hole to be drilled and tapped in the tang if the tang doesn't have the 3rd hole (with the plug screw). These are great peeps and really improved my accuracy. And when the lighting gets too low, you just unscrew the aperature and now you have a ghost ring.
