Default Preparing for my other hunt now

Just got off my shooting range late this evening and after one shot, i did some adjustment and took 2 more which were basically in the same egged out hole and then adjusted 2 clicks up and nailed the bulls eye. I will sight in 3" high for my New Mexico hunt once my brother in law and i are out at the NRA fine tuning his Wolf. I think the Optima is pretty much set and ready.

110gr Blackhorn209
CCI 209 Magnum primers
250gr Powerbelt Aerolite " Testing it this year for actual results on deer"

I also was loading with the factory ramrod with an attachment on it. I can't haul my normal range rod around in the field so i thought it was best to sight in with the actual pressure of the ramrod like i'd have to do in the field on a reload.

Scope mounts are all snug and good to go, i do have to clean my scope lenses as they are smeary lookin from being in the closet while i was away on my Colorado hunt. But other than that, i'll wipe on a coat of RIG + P Stainless lube for exterior protection and im set.

Im excited about this New Mexico hunt though! My brother in law has been going with his brother over the past week for a bow hunt and they are spotting bucks in numbers as high as 21 bucks per day. The lowest they saw on property they could hunt was 9. Thats a slow day i suppose? Talked to him tonight and he said they ran into a herd of 20 does with one spike buck " not legal in NM" so everything looks like its going accordingly to plan

I'll upload some target pics later on, along with some of my hunt pics.

I dated Patience in my early twenties - found out we weren't compatible.
