Default Fired My TC Black Diamond Today

Took my TC Black Diamond to the range today. Several months ago i bedded the action and put a Zeiss 4X32 scope on the gun. Sighted in the gun and it shot well. The gun was cleaned, loaded and put away.

Today i wanted to shoot at 50 yards but the target frame had been destroyed. So i put the target on the frame at 75 yards. The first round went way low: Not even sure what the powder charge was. Reloaded and fired three times without swabbing. Two bullets went through the big hole.

Rifle: TC Black Diamond
Scope: Zeiss Conquest 4X32
Powder: 110 grains of 2F JSG
Sabot: Harvester smooth
Bullet: Hornady 240 grain .430 XTP
Cap: CCI musket cap

This can of JSG was opened in about 2008. When it was opened i put a 1.5" square dessicant in the can. i'm going to deer hunt next month using that gun with that load.

My black diamond xr also likes the 240 and 300 grain XTPs. That is some good shooting there... Good luck hunting.
