Default Optima stock update

As you know, i sent my Optimas stock off to a gent that was advertising on here for a custom dip. I talked with him in emails, decided what i wanted and then sent the stock along with $80 to cover the charges. Well its been 3 days short of 3 MONTHS and i finally got my stock in the mail, along with an $80 refund. All that had been done to it in that time was primer on the stock

The sad part, i had to threaten to take him to small claims and sue for the cost of a new stock + my $80 for the service.

He had it in the mail 3 days later so apparently he didn't want to take that route.

Wow thats crazy. I was wondering if you had got that stock back yet. Glad you got it back and your money even though it took so long.

What do you want done - if Tony can do it send it here and I will get it done in 2 weeks.

But it will be $85 and shipping...

$85 + shipping and 2 weeks is a heck of a lot reasonable than what i just went through. Im actually going to hang onto the rifle for a while because i missed it so much before i send it off again LOL.

SL, whats Tonys website? I was looking to have it dipped in Burl pattern.

If burl isnt available i'll consider doing a camo pattern as well.

I know that he has wood patterns available - I do not know if he has them all on site... but he is only a phone call away - after 4 pm our time - he has a regular job also...

What is Vista?

ok heres the deal, i know ray wanted a renegade stock refinished and i also was interested in his personal stock painting stills so if he and i ever connect on that, he'll get my regular optima stock.

I most likely will send my thumb hole optima stock off after hunting season and have it dipped by tony. The price isnt much of a difference so why not?

Just got the Optima sighted in dead on @ 100 yards so i will bring it as my back up gun in case the Wolf gives me any trouble. Never hurts to bring 2 along.
