Arrow Remington Range trip - Video

I bought a videocam at one of the local pawn shops. Then brought it to the range with my 16 year old son and we took turns taking shots with the Pietta Remington and filming each other.
We made some loud booms and clouds of smoke using American Pioneer 3F Powder and then finished up by sunset.
I really like how well the camera's audio resonates.

I have the same revolver and shoot basically the same load. The 3 APP makes you able to shoot countless times without breaking the revolver down to clean it. I think my flask only throws 20 grains, which for target shooting is plenty. As for your silhouette targets, those are a great way to judge your shooting skills on a man size target. We used to use the exact same ones both in practice and competition. The video made it look like you were shooting almost 25 yards I am guessing. That is good shooting off hand for that distance.

The video camera you got does a real nice job. It really has a good audio too. Nice Video.

We were only shooting at about 10 yards. The targets are reduced in size, they're like civil war era combat loads and being the first time that my youngest son tried it I wanted him to be able to hit the target which he was able to do.
Those guns are a blast because even the hotter loads are a thrill without having any sharp recoil.
Get some you guys while they're on sale for about $189 at Cabela's, plus there's an additional $20 off.
I went and bought the 5.5" inch Remington model recently too.
Buy them now before the prices increase.
And the extra cylinders are on sale too.
