I posted this a couple of years ago, but thought some of the newer forum members might be interested in seeing it.
I have a "go bag" for each of my sidelocks. The bag itself is the 11" canvas tool bag from Harbor Freight which they put on sale for around $6 every few months. I call it a "go bag" because I can grab the bag and gun and hit the range with everything I need for a lengthy shooting session.
This is what the one for my .58 Green Mountain barreled TC Hawken caplock looks like.
And this is what's inside.
See the Tool Box at the 12 o'clock position in the picture. This is what's in it.
Of course, the bags for my flinters contain slightly different items tailored for each gun. The only real problem with my system is you need duplicate short starters, nipple wrenches, powder measures, etc. for each bag.

Very handy Semi. Looks like you got everything you need there to shoot except targets. It's basically a possible bag without a shoulder strap. But with a few more essentials.
My only question is: "How sad were you when you finally wore out that flannel shirt and decided to cut it up for cleaning patches?" I bet it looked real cute on you!

I'm not as good as I'm gonna get - but I'm better than I used to be. "Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil - it has no point."
That looks pretty good. I carry everything I need for all my rifles in one possibles bag.Wrenches, picks, nipples, jags and such. Then I load up a tackle box with the powders, bullets, and or balls I want to shoot that day. If it is an inline I'm shooting I will take an extra tackle box to carry a greater assortment of powders and bullets.
Semi, I find one thing missing. I always include a drill threaded to fit the end of the ram rod. If you have to pull a ball [usually to help some one else, my boy put several down with out powder years ago] if you drill a hole in the ball then the puller will grab it good with out spreading the ball and it will come out much easier.
PS. I thread the drill end to attach it to the ram rod.
very nice. I have one bag. It carries everything. All I add to it when I leave are projectiles for the day, powders, and cleaners.

Paint Brush & Paper Clip? I give. What do you use them for?
Well Josmund, the paint brush and tooth brush (both with the handles cut short for storage convenience) are for cleaning the bolster area, lock, and hammer with soapy water when I'm done shooting. The paper clip is useful for poking around in the nipple if you have a misfire problem.
