good looking gun! I'd take those sights off though. I had them plastic deals one year on a traditions and threw them out LOL. I never have thrown open sights away but them suckers were just horrible. Tighten them down and the soft plastic just wouldnt hold.

I plan to replace the sights one day. I had to put the see through scope mount on just to clear the hammer.

My reply was a joke. I know what the rifle is. I put some effort into trying to make it look half decent when I finished it even though my knowledge and experience in the field is extremely limited. The styling of the rifle in itself is a major set back. But, I could have gotten a Green Mountain barrel for guns I already have one or two barrels for, or I could get a whole rifle for a few dollars more in a kit form and have some fun putting it together. And know that when I take it hunting, and harvest a deer with it, it was my two hands that put it together.

What did you do to an otherwise perfectly pretty rifle? Semisane has led you down the dark side. And you are right - you can't turn back. So what will we call you now: Darth Pluckit!
