Looks like some fun days ahead. My favorite gun is actually a Lyman GPR that I built from a kit. I think you will treasure that more than one off a rack. Have fun with it.

All right! Another sidelock on the forum.

You planning on browning or bluing it Pluckit? Or maybe leave it in the white and give it a high polish with a buffing wheel. Then there's the Cerekote green finish, or maybe black. Dang - decisions, decisions, decisions!

One more question. What kind of scope are you going to put on it????

Awesome!! Just take your time and slowly work with sanding the stock the right way. Don't rush it and it will come out good.

Semisane.
I plan to blue it. But I haven't quite decided yet. Blue, Brown, White, so many choices, I have a lot of work to do on the stock so I have plenty of time to think about it.

I just finished staining the stock. I'll give it until tomorrow to dry and then take a couple of pictures. Then I want to put some kind of sealer or urethane on it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
