Default Rain, Rain, Rain

Four and a quarter inches in my rain gauge between 1:30 p.m and 5:30 p.m. today.

Send some our way we are having a drought and some trees are starting to turn yellow and brown. Fire danger in the woods is bad.

I was watching that storm on the news. It was sure sounding like you were getting a soaking. Yet in other parts of the country they are turning into a dust bowl. We've been lucky in my part of the world. Rain when we need it and sun shine and hot temperatures when it don't rain. The tomatoes this year are doing fantastic.

Sure wish it would rain here and cool the place off. We have been very dry for a year now. For over 30 days the day time temperature has been over 100 degrees F.
